Privacy notice

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This site belongs to Firdous Bhat, an independent software developer. It's a simple website with a contact form. This notice explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you send.

What the contact form collects

When you send an enquiry, the form collects:

• your name and email address
• your phone or WhatsApp number and company name, if you choose to give them
• the service you're interested in and your timeline
• the message you write

Why it's collected

Only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss your project with you. It isn't used for anything else.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are stored by Netlify Forms, the service that hosts this website. A copy of each submission is also sent to me as an email notification.

How long it's kept

Up to 12 months, unless we start working together. If we do, I keep it for as long as it's needed for the project and the records that go with it.

Sharing

Your information is never sold, and it's never shared with anyone for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't use tracking cookies or analytics. The hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, or ask me to delete it, by emailing hello@firdous.xyz.
